Privacy policy and website terms
Last updated October 2026
Information we collect
- Details you give us when you complete a form or contact us, such as your name, email address, phone number, company and message.
- When you request access to our data room: your name, company (if given), email address, LinkedIn profile (if you use a personal email address), the investor category you confirm, and the date and approximate country of the request.
- When you use the data room: your acceptance of our confidentiality agreement (the name you give, the date and time, your IP address, browser and approximate location), when you sign in and which documents you open.
- Basic technical information about your visit, such as pages viewed, collected to keep the site secure and working.
How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry and communicate with you.
- To decide whether to approve your access to the data room, and to keep a record of investor self-certifications, as required for financial promotions.
- To send you sign-in links and to keep a record of access to confidential documents.
- To run, secure and improve this website.
- To comply with our legal obligations.
Cookies
We use one strictly necessary cookie, set only when an approved investor signs in to the data room, to keep you signed in on that browser. It renews each time you visit, lapses after 30 days without a visit, and lasts no more than 90 days, after which you sign in again with an emailed link. Signing out removes it. We do not use advertising cookies.
Storage and security
Enquiries are stored securely with our hosting provider, Cloudflare, and are accessible only to the HMOCapital team. We keep enquiries for as long as needed to respond and maintain our relationship with you, and data room access requests, approvals and access records for as long as the law requires. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we use industry-standard measures to protect your information.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to how we use it. To exercise these rights, email invest@hmocapital.co.uk. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Third-party links
This website links to external sources for the data we cite. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of other websites.

We aim to keep the information on this website accurate and up to date, but we make no representations or warranties about its completeness, accuracy or suitability for any purpose. Nothing on this website is an offer or invitation to invest, or investment, legal or tax advice. HMOCapital is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
